Tile Installation in Fairfield County, CT

Tile is the trade Cross Tiles was built on. As a dedicated tile contractor serving Fairfield County, we install porcelain, ceramic, marble, natural stone, mosaic, and large-format tile across floors, walls, showers, and backsplashes. Where it counts most, the work is invisible: a planned layout, a properly prepped substrate, waterproofing in wet areas, and grout lines that run dead straight. That is the difference between tile that looks good on day one and tile that still looks perfect a decade later.

FAQ

Tile Installation questions, answered

What types of tile do you install?

We install porcelain, ceramic, marble, natural stone, mosaic, large-format tile, and gauged porcelain panels (GPTP) on floors, walls, showers, and backsplashes.

Do you waterproof before tiling showers?

Always. Showers and wet areas get a full waterproofing system over a prepped substrate before any tile is set. It is the most critical part of a lasting installation, and we never skip it.

Do you remove existing tile?

Yes. Demolition and tile removal are part of many of our projects. We tear out the old, prep the substrate, and set the new tile properly.
